The vision was to create a single-level maisonette with soaring ceilings, a residence that achieves a remarkable sense of openness and scale within a more compact footprint than other homes in the collection. Its 5-meter (17-foot) ceilings and carefully placed skylights allow daylight to sculpt the interior, casting shifting shadows through wooden beams that animate each space. At every hour, the light transforms the mood—sometimes soft and contemplative, sometimes bold and architectural—so the villa never looks the same twice.

The architectural concept emerged from a collaboration between Ulises, known for his mastery of modern minimalism, and Patricio Abaca, who curated the interiors and rooftop furnishings. Together they created a unified language of space and form—pure lines, expressive materials, and a furniture selection that mirrors the home’s sculptural restraint.

Villa Aire exists in two distinct typologies, each designed around a different rhythm of life:
- Type A features three bedrooms and embodies an elegant balance of proportion and simplicity, ideal for those who value spaciousness and privacy.
- Type B expands the experience to four bedrooms and introduces a rooftop gymnasium, along with hot and cold plunge pools, a bar, and an open-air kitchen, transforming the upper level into a space for wellness and gathering under the sky.

Both versions share the same architectural DNA: openness, light, and the constant dialogue between interior and exterior.

The color palette of Villa Aire emerges directly from its materials; concrete, stone, wood, and marble, each left in their natural state to reveal their own character. The palette was conceived to feel organic and vivid, its tones shifting subtly with the changing light. From the soft yellow of morning to the warm red of dusk and the cool blue of moonlight, the villa transforms throughout the day.

This dynamic relationship between light and texture defines the villa’s atmosphere. The rawness of unfinished concrete, stone, and wood is counterbalanced by refined marble surfaces and precise detailing. Each element was chosen for how it interacts with natural light, ensuring that every wall, beam, and surface participates in a composition of shadow and reflection.

The challenge was achieving openness and space while maintaining comfort and ergonomic flow. High ceilings and expansive glazing achieve both lightness and structure. The result is an interior that feels sculptural yet practical; a tranquil balance between material honesty and spatial grace.
